Congratulations James Ethan Clark getting to hollywood on this season of American Idol. It was a little over a year ago when I first met Ethan who was a barista at Java Dog in downtown Wilmington NC. He was incredibly nice, unassuming and I had no idea of his hidden talents. Soon after, I was invited to see his first performance at Bottega Wine Bar just down from the Java Dog on Front Street. He had made his own posters for the event. The turn out was phenomenal, barely even standing room and friends and family were all there to show their support. His voice and pure emotion behind his music was incredibly addictive. I was excited last month when Andrew Bopes from the Fortunate Observer stopped in with his designs and asked if I would print James Ethan Clarks business cards. Without a doubt. Thank you for sharing your talent with the rest of the world and good luck! I am sure I speak for Wilmington when I say, we are here to support you all the way to and through Hollywood! Sincerely,
